Senior Interactive Producer

Produced detail-oriented and highly regulated digital marketing emails, IVAs, websites, and banner ads for busy pharmaceutical giant.  Interfaced directly with Brand, Design, Development and QA personnel.  Created SOWs, budgets, timelines, and finalized all billing.  Troubleshot daily issues and provided clear and concise communication to all parties.

2012 – 2014

Director of Post Production 

Recruited by Managing Partner to create and manage in-house studio in response to clients’ needs.  Created state-of-the art creative studio with advanced digital and print capabilities utilizing a dedicated pool of freelancers and outstanding overseas vendor connections.  In three months’ time I reduced fixed labor costs by 40%.

Partner with in-house creative leadership, as well as client creative personnel to define creative direction, create custom workflows, provide documentation and monitor and manage production processes. Led creative RFP teams in the creation of documentation and preparation of imagery required resulting in the awarding of luxury clients including David Yurman and Victoria’s Secret.

Recruited all talent and managed scheduling to best allocate resources during peak periods.  Maximize use of proprietary CMS in workflow planning and implementation.

2010 – 2012

Project Manager, Global Creative Studio (Contract)

Engaged via the Executive Creative Director to manage all high-profile celebrity-endorsed fragrance campaigns.  Partnered with creative director and photographer to choose and assess selects, finalize creative vision and managed retouching vendors for the highest quality.  Renegotiated pricing structure with favored vendors cutting vendor costs by 20%.

In addition to project work, I provided industry thought leadership and technical knowledge by testing and applying new hardware, software and production techniques.  These techniques are still in use today.

2005 – 2010

Retouching Studio Director                                                                                                        

Hired by management consultant to temporarily fill a vacant Operations Manager position. After several months I was hired full time to revamp the Creative Services department where I built a state-of-the art retouching studio.  My revised processes and newly acquired talented personnel, resulted in unprecedented new business.  New clients  Abercrombie & Fitch and Juicy Couture added an additional $6.5 million annually.  My oversight resulted in all new production processes and monitored fixed and variable costs, reducing both labor and consumable costs.

2003 – 2005

Creative Studio Manager/ Facilities Manager                       

Recruited by Fuel Digital Inc. to create and manage a new Fuel-branded production studio on-site at Young & Rubicam dedicated to Philip Morris products.  I created all production procedures and processes, staffed the studio with a revolving pool of dedicated freelancers, and conditioned files earmarked for execution at Fuel Digital.  My efforts resulted in many opportunities to up-sell projects, which added an additional 20K per month in billing.

2000 – 2003

Production Manager

Hired to manage the production of new catalogs and publications division.  Responsible for personnel, daily workflow, and cost collection and analysis.  I created and implemented a comprehensive Quality Awareness training program resulting in a 20% reduction of remake labor and consumable spending.

My account skills were utilized when I was put on-site at our most difficult client’s facility.  My presence and knowledge led to upsales of approx $50K in ancillary direct mail business, a sector that American Color was not servicing prior to my involvement.
